James Fozard, Ph.D.
Visiting Scholar in Gerontechnology

For over 40 years, James L. Fozard, Ph.D. has conducted research on aging and developed geriatric medical programs. He is a co-founder of Gerontechnology, an applied discipline devoted to developing and adapting technology to the needs of aging and aged people. He has authored or coauthored 185 scientific articles and book chapters.  Currently on the faculty of the University of South Florida, Dr. Fozard has worked and taught internationally.  A unifying theme of his seminars is the usefulness of  interdisciplinary approaches to research on, and medical care for, aging and aged people.

These are free seminars/open discussions—all faculty, staff, and students are welcome.

This seminar is supported by funding from the Provost’s Office Institute for Visiting Scholars and the College of Social Work at USC.
