2010 Class (Video and exam materials)

This class has already taken place on March 20 and March 27, 2010.
However, you may enroll in the on-line version and have access to practice exams, class video, links, resources, etc...

Dr. Nicholas Cooper-Lewter will provide the training based on exam preparation guides created by the Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences.  The College is making arrangements with the publisher to procure the training manuals at a reduced rate for our students.  It is not necessary to purchase the AATBS manuals to attend the training.  The training will occur on-line.

* If your report states that you passed the exam, it means you have achieved (or exceeded) the passing score required by your licensing board. ASWB no longer provides candidates with “scaled” scores. Instead, candidates receive more detailed information on the actual number of questions they answered correctly. Remember that licensing examinations are really only concerned with whether you pass—provided you achieve a passing score, the number of questions you answered correctly does not have an effect on your license. All that really matters is that you have passed the examination. And your pass will remain a pass even if you have your results transferred to another licensing board. (Directly from: http://www.aswb.org/SWLE/faqs.asp#CorrectToPass)

**The application fee is the initial fee charged for each individual state but does not include the fee for sitting for the exam payable to the ASWB.

***Please consult each individual state for testing dates and other requirements; additionally, the ASWB has a lot of useful information regarding the exam itself.  More information on the ASWB exam and other useful tips can be found at: http://www.aswb.org/SWLE/faqs.asp#CorrectToPass
