The Policy Conference will be held at Embassy Suites Historic District, 337 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC. The guestroom rate for the conference is $129 + 12% tax for the dates of August 5-12. Reservations may be made by calling 1-843-723-6900 or 1-800-EMBASSY or online at www.embassysuites.com. Reservations must be made before July 9 to insure the special conference rate. After this date, reservations are accepted on a space available basis and may not be available at the conference rate. Also, once the room block is filled, the conference room rate is not guaranteed. Check in time is 4:00PM. Departure time is 12:00 Noon.

Parking:
A parking garage is adjacent to the hotel for a rate of $10 per day. Valet parking is available at a rate of $16 per day.
Airport Transport:
The airport is approximately 12 miles from the conference site. Shuttle/taxi fares run approximately $18-22.

Information regarding tours of this historic ante-bellum city is available in the hotel lobby; and, the Charleston Visitor's Center is one block from the hotel. Restaurants, historic homes, art galleries, antique shops, carriage tours, the Battery, Waterfront Park, Charleston Harbor and shopping are all within blocks of the hotel.
