*Developed and delivered presentations and training since 1988 for local and national groups on substance abuse topics to include work with adolescents, families, group work, school based programs and curriculum and community based work, especially at grass roots levels. (1988-2003)

*Recent trainings developed and delivered on “aging and alcoholism” for staff at Lexington Medical Center, Family Services and Tucker Center in South Carolina. (2004-2006)

*Presentations on not for profit management and board development (1990’s)

*Development and delivery of field instruction seminars (1995-2005)

*Consultation, presentations and training for CSWE Self Study Process and curriculum development for Limestone College (2004-2005)

Service:

Executive Director, Trinity Housing Corporation and St. Lawrence Place. a transitional housing program for homeless families

Consultant for National PONSI (Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction) especially for Family Development Credential (1998 – present)

Member of National Association of Social Workers since 1983

Honors and Awards:

Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society/Alpha Theta Chapter 2002
US Presidential Award for Leadership in Community Based Drug Prevention 1992

Social Work Experience:

Practicing social worker since 1983 in both agency settings and private practice in both micro (clinical) areas and macro (administrative) areas, especially in substance abuse related work -please see resume

Teaching Experience:

Guest Lecturer, June 2007 at the Katholische Fachhochschule Nordrhein-Westfalen in Aachen, Germany for BSW students and faculty 

Total of 15 years teaching experience; tenured Associate Professor of Social Work at Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY, served as both BSW Program Director and Field Director; involved in two CSWE reaffirmation self studies. Extensive committee work.

Adjunct Faculty for Rochester Institute of Technology; 1990-1995

Adjunct Faculty for University of South Carolina; graduate and undergraduate social work courses; 2003-present
