OneDrive for Business
OneDrive for Business is provided as a recommended solution that has been vetted and
security hardened for the protection of university data and user privacy.
Cloud storage and collaboration with others, both internal and external to the organization, are the norm for today’s workforce. But considering the constantly-changing threat landscape, we now know that e-mail alone cannot protect sensitive information from prying eyes.
When the University of South Carolina shares information, internally or externally, it is important that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of that data be preserved. That is no small task, especially with so many cloud storage options available. Microsoft has entered into a Business Associates Agreement (BAA) with the University of South Carolina. This agreement helps provide university students, faculty, and staff with a recommended tool for collaboration and secure file sharing, OneDrive for Business.
University of South Carolina OneDrive for Business is enabled automatically for all current students, faculty, and staff.
