All full-time Black faculty at the University of South Carolina Columbia campus are eligible to join the Black Faculty Caucus. Those who are not full-time Black faculty may be invited to join, pending approval by a majority of the BFC membership.

Members are entitled to one vote, have the privilege to participate in all organizational events and services, and are required to pay annual dues, attend general meetings and participate in other BFC activities and programs.

Annual membership dues in the amount of $25 are collected at the beginning of each year.
