Program Coordinator II/Lead Behavior Specialist

The Yvonne and Schuyler Moore Child Development Research Center at the University of South Carolina recently received funding from the SC Department of Social Services through the Preschool Development Grant 0-5 to implement initiatives to provide greater access to inclusive settings for young children in South Carolina through the Mix EC: Multi-Systems Inclusion Expansion for Early Childhood project. There are 3 positions available.

The Lead Behavior Specialist will design and implement all activities related to the Pyramid Model under the direction and supervision of the Co-Principal Investigators and Project Manager. The Lead Behavior Specialist will design a process to recruit and prepare child care programs across the state to implement Pyramid Model practices program-wide and coordinate the implementation of a behavior consultant support network. In addition, the Lead Behavior Specialist will design and facilitate a community of practice with Pyramid Model trainers.

This position will require frequent travel throughout the state and the delivery of services outside of typical business hours (evenings, weekends).
