Background

Dr. Castleberry joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of South Carolina School of Medicine in September 2014. In addition to her responsibilities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Castleberry provides gynecologic care for HIV patients at the Immunology Center at One Medical Park. She completed her medical education at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, and her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Following her residency, Dr. Castleberry worked for one year at Erie Family Health Center in Chicago, Illinois and cared for indigent and underserved women while there. Prior to moving to Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Castleberry was employed for two years by Main Line HealthCare at Riddle Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania and also worked with the Ob/Gyn residents at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Her interests include abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, obstetrics, and preventive care.
