Background

J. Benjamin Jackson, III, MD, completed his undergraduate education at Mars Hill College in Asheville, North Carolina, where he competed in cross country and track and field at the Division II level. He completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he served as student body President. Dr. Jackson completed his orthopedic residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he received the resident teaching award and completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Utah.

Dr. Jackson’s clinical interests include patients with injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle. He has a strong interest in research and has written numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He believes he can improve the outcomes of his patients through quality research and individualized patient care.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys and officiating collegiate and professional soccer.
