The 2021 Women's Health Research Forum has been canceled. The theme for next year's event is: Feeding Our Families: Food Insecurity, Inequities, and the Impact on Columbia’s Health.
The forum is a free, annual educational event providing a great opportunity for networking among researchers, professionals and policymakers across medicine, the health sciences, social sciences and women’s health-related nonprofits.
Following a featured speaker at the morning session, the poster session consists of submitted abstracts. Abstracts are published and provided to Forum attendees. The day concludes with selected oral presentations by OBGYN resident physicians and a poster award ceremony. Poster award winners are selected in pre-forum judging by a multidisciplinary scientific committee.
The 2020 event was a success. View event photos and the event publications: [Program Booklet].
The Forum is coordinated by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prisma Health. The Steering and Scientific Committees consist of faculty from other college/schools at USC and Prisma Health.
