Dedication to Patient Care
Our department's faculty and students take patient care very seriously. We work one-on-one with each patient to diagnose, treat and guide recovery. We deliver that quality patient care through a partnership with Prisma Health. You can learn more about our offerings, request an appointment and meet our physicians online.
Sports Medicine Fellowship
If you've completed an ACGME-accredited residency in primary care, you'll have the opportunity to pursue our 12-month sports medicine fellowship. You can learn more about the fellowship, including how to apply, on the Prisma Health website.
Orthopedic Surgery Residency
We accept two orthopedic residents each year for our five-year residency program. During your residency, you'll get a chance to work side-by-side with physician educators in nearly on-on-one clinical and operative experiences. You'll spend your time exploring eight major subspecialties including:
- Orthopedic Trauma
- Pediatric Orthopedics
- Upper Extremity

- Spine
- Adult Reconstruction
- Foot and Ankle
- General Orthopedics
Athletic Training Residency
Our program is one of only six in the country that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). As a resident you'll further your awareness of all aspects of sports medicine and prepare to work in a variety of clinical, surgical, research and educational settings.
