With easy access to the University of South Carolina main campus, Columbia is the perfect location for anyone interested in pursuing a career in clinical or research-based health care. Columbia is the capital of South Carolina and the second-largest city in the state. The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia campus is a beautifully landscaped campus with lush lawns, mature trees and convenient parking. It is located four miles east of the main campus and adjacent to the Dorn VA Medical Center.

Your tour of the campus is one-on-one with a current first-year medical student. This will give you a better understanding of everything our school has to offer. You will attend first-year lectures and labs, visit the Ultrasound Institute, tour the campus and have the chance to ask your guide any questions.
