Staff at the College of Nursing play a vital role in the daily operations of a top nursing program in the country. 

Supports the management and operations of development and alumni relations through annual gift fundraising, sponsorship development, alumni engagement programming, special event planning and volunteer management for the College of Nursing. Responsible for building membership and directing related activities for the College’s Dean’s Circle, coordinates annual giving initiatives with the UofSC Office of Annual Giving including the college’s participation in Giving for Garnet Giving Day and Family Fund. Secures financial support for sponsorships to benefit special events. Oversees the College’s Alumni Council and subcommittees. The Academic Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Associate Dean for Academics and Accreditation as well as the OAA Program Directors to assist with administrative support for Clinical Academic programs in the College of Nursing.

Manages, prioritizes and coordinates the Executive Associate Dean for Academics and Accreditation’s and Program Director’s calendars to include preparation/provision of all information and materials for briefing on meetings and events; maintains office files. Provides administrative support for the Program Director’s and Advisory Council meetings to include preparation of agendas, recording of minutes, and distribution of final minutes, and maintaining confidentiality....learn more.
